Module 9 of 11

Architecture & System Design

Design systems that last: modular architecture, background jobs and caching, evolving APIs, and data modeling at scale.

Lesson 1advanced

System Design for MERN Developers

Monoliths, services, and the tradeoffs between them: background jobs with BullMQ, caching layers, queues, and when to reach for each.

Lesson 2advanced

API Design at Scale

APIs that survive their clients: versioning, pagination and filtering conventions, idempotency, webhooks, and contract discipline.

Lesson 3advanced

Advanced Data Modeling

Model for the queries you will actually run: embed vs reference at scale, index strategy, transactions, migrations, and denormalization.
